Behar has written foundation-shaking cover stories on Scientology, the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing, and on New York’s organized crime. But financial conmen are his specialty, as revealed in his highly acclaimed 2024-puplished book on fraudster Bernie Madoff. Come listen to Behar as he recalls the cat-and-mouse game of intellect he played with the imprisoned Bernie Madoff, besides sharing the practical investment lessons he picked up in a lifetime of exposing the underbelly of America’s financial system.

Over a four-decade career, Richard Behar has garnered more than 20 major journalism awards. He is currently the Contributing Editor of Investigations for Forbes magazine, and an Associate Producer and narrator of an upcoming docuseries on post-Soviet organized crime. He previously worked on the staffs of Fortune, Time and Forbes, and carried out probes for CNN and BBC. In 2005, Behar launched Project Klebnikov, a global media alliance committed to shedding light on the Moscow murder of his friend, Forbes editor Paul Klebnikov.
