In this session two experienced poets will discuss their initial road to publication with sound advice related to the submission process, including cover letters, composing bios, and researching the poetry market place. There will be samples of literary magazines and ample time for questions.

Norma Ketzis Bernstock
After a career in education, Norma Ketzis Bernstock is now a full-time writer. Her poetry has appeared in many print and online journals and anthologies including What But the Music, Poets of the Palisades, Stillwater Review, Connecticut River Review, Exit 13, Paterson Literary Review and Rattle. Her poems have been featured online at Your Daily Poem, read on WJFF Catskill Radio and have received a Pushcart Prize nomination. She has two published chapbooks and a new full-length poetry manuscript.


Linda Perlman Fields
Linda Perlman Fields is a writer and poet, former English teacher and Peabody-winning journalist. Her fiction and poetry have been published in Bright Flash Literary Review, The Writers Journal, One Art, Poetica Magazine, The Sunlight Press, Still Point Arts Quarterly, and others. She’s proud to serve on the board of Pike Artworks.
