Building on the tradition of story telling and the participatory energy of book clubs, we invite readers to share their thoughts, with the authors.

“This festival shows us the worldwide importance of coming together to share ideas and build community.”
-Gloria Steinem

The Milford Readers and Writers Festival aims to inspire conversations between people who love to read books and people who write them.

Meet the Writers

Thank you for all who attended and made this year's festival a resounding success. We look forward to seeing you again next year when we present an astounding roster of writers/literary celebrities as well as information-packed panels. There is always something for everyone.

Just a few images of the wonderful writers who graced the Milford Theatre stage and made us laugh, thrilled us with their intellect, intrigued us with their ideas and made us want more. Also featured are the wonderful drawings by Bob Eckstein who captured some rare moments.
